Leeds took post-punk by the scruff if its neck and created some wonderfully diverse music. This might be an obscure choice of track (you can read the reasons for the song choices here) but full-on Goth Rock aside, the influence of Leeds bands of this era such as Red Lorry Yellow Lorry is still only just being recognised.
