For many music fans Gang of Four are regarded as one of the most interesting of the ‘post-punk’ bands. One of several bands featured in the Song Tunnel that formed from a group of friends at Leeds University in the late 1970s, Gang of Four‘s mix of politics, diverse musical influences and choppy guitar sound have proved to be highly influential with bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers citing them as a major influence.
